Marjory the Motivator Speaks at Life University
Marjory Goodloe, also known as Marjory the Motivator, came and shared with a group of about 40 individuals on the topic of “Fighting for Your Family” on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the Tabernacle’s Life University. Marjory described her experience as a child in the foster care system, and discussed the necessary both spiritual and practical keys for positive family interactions. She focused on such concepts as recognizing your role in your family, allowing family interactions to develop character, and the importance of prayer in maintaining proper family order. All those in attendance lauded the presentation and talked about ideas that could be implemented immediately in their daily family interactions.
Marjory’s presentation was a part of the 2017 learning season of Life University. Life University is a part of the educational arm of the Tabernacle. Life University focuses on empowering individuals to break negative cycles in their lives by providing experts to provide practical information in six key areas: education, faith, family, finance, health and leadership. Those who are unable to attend the seminar can find the videos from the session on YouTube, or can gain further information about future events by liking the LifeU Talks page on Facebook.
