Gardens At Grace

Working Together to End Hunger

Access to fresh produce in the central city continues to be a challenge. On Friday, May 18th, the Tabernacle, along with students from Jones Leadership Academy for Business, partnered with Elder Nathan McCain of Grace Presbyterian to lay the groundwork for collaborative efforts to sustain preparation and maintenance of Grace’s one acre cooperative garden. For years, Grace Presbyterian has provided tremendous amounts of fresh produce to members of the surrounding community. Elder McCain from Grace, Pastor Sweeney from the Tabernacle, and other community partners are excited to look at continued collaborative efforts to ensure that the Gardens at Grace continue to be a viable community asset.
